Vice President Digital Lifestyle Telkomsel, Nirwan Lesmana mengatakan, Telkomsel mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh peserta yang terpilih dan berhasil keluar sebagai Juara Kelas MAXscript 2020.
Telkomsel memaknai program MAXscript Class 2020 sebagai salah satu perwujudan komitmen untuk terus bergerak maju membuka semua peluang bagi masyarakat untuk dapat memaksimalkan potensi diri di segala aspek kehidupan.
“Telkomsel pun berharap, hadirnya program MAXscript Class ini mampu menjadi sarana untuk mendorong lebih banyak lagi lahirnya talenta kreatif unggul di Indonesia,” kata Nirwan.
MAXscript Class adalah sebuah program penulisan, kompetisi dan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk percepatan regenerasi penulis-penulis skenario di Indonesia.

Program ini menghadirkan sejumlah mentor berpengalaman di bidangnya yang akan memilih penulis terbaik yang kemudian akan dibimbing untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam proyek-proyek pembuatan serial di Wahana Kreator bersama MAXstream ke depannya.
Sejak pertama kali pendaftaran dibuka pada 28 Oktober-24 November 2020, tercatat ada 1.693 peserta yang mendaftar. Para peserta ini kemudian melalui proses seleksi dan mendapatkan materi penulisan dalam delapan tahap yang terbagi, diantaranya Isu & Argumen, Premis, Character’s & Character Arc, Sinopsis Pendek, Outline, Treatment, Dialog, dan Pengajar Tamu.
Melalui delapan tahap tersebut, ribuan peserta yang berasal dari penjuru Indonesia itu kemudian disaring dan hanya menyisakan 10 peserta terbaik yang diumumkan pada ajang MAXscript Class Award 2020.
Diadakannya MAXscript Class Award ini sendiri tak lain sebagai puncak kegiatan MAXscript Class selama satu tahun dan sebagai ajang untuk memberikan penghargaan kepada para pemenang yang sudah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan MAXscript Class 2020.
“Laju perkembangan industri kreatif secara cepat akhir-akhir ini terutama di masa pandemi membuat kebutuhan khalayak akan konten menjadi semakin tinggi. Maka dari itu, menjadi penting untuk bisa menghadirkan penulis-penulis baru sehingga karya cerita yang diproduksi akan semakin beragam.
