Sejauh ini Lion Air Group tetap fokus pada fase pengerjaan, seperti pengecekan dan pemeliharaan komponen pesawat. Dengan cara pemeriksaan dan perawatan kinerja (performa) secara komprehensif dari seluruh komponen pesawat udara, yaitu pada mesin (preservation engine), perangkat tambahan daya (auxiliary power unit), navigasi, perlatan komunikasi, hiburan dalam penerbangan (inflight entertainment), fasilitas pesawat dan lainnya yang terkait.

Area detail mencakup ruang kokpit, toilet (lavatory), dapur (galley), kompartemen bagasi, meja lipat pada kursi, sandaran kursi, penutup kursi bagian kepala (head cover), penutup jendela dan dinding kabin, karpet dan ruang kargo di bagian bawah kabin pesawat.

Tak hanya itu, kebersihan pesawat dan peralatan pendukung dicek secara berkala dengan metode Aircraft Exterior and Interior Cleaning (AEIC), seperti pencucian dan membersihkan (lap) badan pesawat. Untuk perawatan pesawat udara, kata dia, dilaksanakan di pusat perawatan pesawat Lion Air Group – Batam Aero Technic dan di bandar udara (base station) dimana pesawat Lion Air Group berada. Seluruh prosedur yang dilakukan telah mengikuti aspek keselamatan yang dapat membantu untuk melaksanakan seluruh tahapan sampai selesai.

Untuk di Base Maintenance Batam Aero Technic, dalam satu kali maintenance mampu merawat 15 unit yang terdiri dari pesawat berbadan lebar (wide body aircraft) seperti Airbus 330, pesawat berbadan sedang atau kecil (narrow body aircraft), antara lain Boeing 737, Airbus 320, ATR maupun Hawker, meliputi pekerjaan ringan sampai pekerjaan berat, termasuk painting full body pesawat, peremajaan interior pesawat, perawatan komponen pesawat dan lainnya.
