Gubernur Imbau Modernisasi Pertanian Kolaborasi Lintas Sektor | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Sumut) Edy Rahmayadi mendorong agar modernisasi bisa diwujudkan di Kabupaten Humbanghasundutan (Humbahas) sebagai daerah agraris. Untuk itu, diperlukan adanya pembangunan pertanian kolaboratif, yakni berkolaborasi dengan sektor lain.
Demikian disampaikan Gubernur Edy Rahmayadi saat menggelar kunjungan kerja ke Kabupaten Humbahas, di Aula Hutamas Komplek Perkantoran Pemkab Humbahas, Kamis, 23 September 2021. Hadir di antaranya Ketua TP-PKK Sumut Nawal Lubis, Bupati Humbahas Dosmar Banjarnahor, Wakil Bupati Humbahas Oloan P Nababan dan unsur Forkopimda setempat.
“Daerah ini adalah contoh nantinya yang akan segera kita tindak lanjuti sampai ke daerah-daerah yang potensial untuk lumbung-lumbung logistik kita, 2.700 hektare yang kita harapkan di Sumatera Utara. Itu sudah akan menjawab kekurangan (pasokan) hortikultura yang dibutuhkan Indonesia, bukan hanya di Sumut,” ujar Gubernur, usai menggelar pertemuan bersama aparatur pemerintah dan kepala SMA/SMK Humbahas.
Humbahas sendiri, lanjut Gubernur, merupakan kabupaten percontohan untuk proyek Food Estate dari Pemerintah Pusat. Sehingga langkah Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumut adalah bagaimana memperbanyak lahan dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil pertanian, dengan berbagai upaya seperti penyediaan alat mesin pertanian (alsintan), bantuan benih dan lainnya.
“Saya minta seluruh rakyat mendukung ini pertanian, khususnya di Humbahas. Saya yakin mereka ahli dalam pertanian. Tetapi harus diatur dengan modernisasi yang bisa menjawab tuntutan zaman,” sebut Edy Rahmayadi.
Namun untuk konsep pertanian berkelanjutan, kata Edy, perlu langkah yang kolaboratif seperti rencana pengembangan peternakan, khususnya untuk mendukung penyediaan pupuk, melalui pengolahan kotoran ternak. Hanya saja, rencana tersebut sempat terhenti karena kondisi pandemi Covid-19.

“Jadi berikutnya kita rencanakan (kembali), di sini harus ada kandang (peternakan), untuk kebutuhan daging, susu dan lainnya,” pungkas Edy.
Sementara Bupati Humbahas Dosmar Banjarnahor mengapresiasi perhatian Gubernur Edy Rahmayadi untuk mendukung pengembangan sektor pertanian di daerah ini. “Kami mohon dukungan dari Pak Gubernur, serta agar kami dibimbing. Agar Humbahas ini menjaid lehih maju,” sebut Dosmar.
Selain bertema dengan perangkat pemerintah setempat, Gubernur juga menyerahkan bantuan operasional pendidikan (BOP) secara simbolis kepada Kepala SMA/SMK se-Humbahas dan Samosir, menyerahkan bantuan pertanian dan memberikan bingkisan serta tali asih kepada anak yatim/piatu di daerah tersebut.
Kegiatan selanjutnya, Gubernur pun menggelar pertemuan bersama aparatur pemerintahan mulai dari Camat dan Kepala Desa se-Kabupaten Samosir di Tuktuk, Samosir.***

“So next we plan (to return), here there must be a cage (animal husbandry), for meat, milk and other needs,” concluded Edy.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Humbahas Dosmar Banjarnahor appreciated the attention of Governor Edy Rahmayadi to support the development of the agricultural sector in this area. “We ask for support from the Governor, and for us to be guided. So that this Humbahas becomes more advanced,” said Dosmar.
