Pada ajang penghargaan tersebut, Telkomsel akan memberikan apresiasi kepada para gamer, atlet esports profesional, content creator, esports organizer, publisher dan developer game lokal, celebrity gamer hingga fans club esports yang akan terbagi ke dalam 17 kategori.
Berbagai kategori tersebut meliputi nominasi untuk esports Male dan Female Player of the Year, esports Team of the Year, Game of the Year, Cosplayer of the Year, Coach of the Year, dan yang spesial akan ada Lifetime Achievement yang diberikan dalam ajang DGA 2021.
