Dalam pelepasan eskpor ini, Mendag Lutfi menegaskan bahwa ekonomi nasional mulai pulih. Momentum ini harus terus dijaga secara serius agar perekonomian Indonesia bisa lebih cepat bangkit dan tumbuh.
“Hari ini saya melepas ekspor senilai Rp35,03 triliun secara serentak di 18 titik di 62 kabupaten/kota di 26 provinsi di Indonesia secara hibrida. Pelepasan ekspor ini merupakan kolaborasi dan kerja sama dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan, baik pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, dan para pelaku usaha untuk mendorong pemulihan ekonomi nasional, serta meningkatkan kinerja ekspor nasional. Saya berharap pelepasan ekspor ini dapat memotivasi kalangan dunia usaha untuk terus mempertahankan dan memperluas pasar ekspornya,” ujar Mendag Lutfi.
Mendag Lutfi memimpin ‘Pelepasan Ekspor Akhir Tahun 2021’ yang dilaksanalam secara hibrida yang diikuti 278 eksportir dari 62 kabupaten/kota di 26 provinsi hari ini, Kamis, 23 Desember 2021, dengan lokus utama di PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, Karawang International Industrial City, Jawa Barat.

Pemerintah, lanjut Mendag Lutfi, didorong untuk fokus pada peningkatan kinerja ekspor dalam rangka percepatan pemulihan ekonomi nasional.
“Secara simultan, pertumbuhan ekspor yang signifikan juga akan mendorong inovasi dan peningkatan kualitas industri dalam negeri. Kedua hal ini merupakan fondasi utama untuk memulihkan ekonomi nasional dan mewujudkan cita-cita Indonesia Maju 2045,” tegas Mendag.
Mendag Lutfi menyampaikan, Kementerian Perdagangan sering bertemu dan berdiskusi dengan eskportir. “Kami selalu motivasi para pelaku usaha untuk berani mengeksplorasi peluang pasar baru di kawasan emerging markets dan pasar nontradisional. Terlebih dengan adanya ketidakpastian di negara-negara pesaing, kita justru dapat memanfaatkan potensi ekspor yang selama ini belum dioptimalkan seperti Afrika, Asia Selatan, Asia Barat, Eropa Timur dan negara-negara di kawasan Oseania,” ujar Mendag.

Selain lokus utama di Karawang, Jawa Barat, terdapat 17 titik pelepasan yang terkoneksi langsung secara daring yang meliputi Pangkal Pinang (Bangka Belitung); Pelalawan dan Pekanbaru (Riau); Lampung; Bogor dan Bekasi (Jawa Barat); Salatiga, Boyolali dan Semarang (Jawa Tengah); Gresik dan Sidoarjo (Jawa Timur); Yogyakarta; Mataram (NTB); Pontianak (Kalimantan Barat); dan Samarinda (Kalimantan Timur), serta Serang dan Banten (Jawa Barat).

Secara kumulatif, kinerja ekspor Indonesia pada Januari–November 2021 mencapai USD 209,16 miliar atau naik 42,62 persen dibanding periode yang sama tahun 2020.
Sementara itu, neraca perdagangan Indonesia bulan November 2021 mengalami surplus USD 3,51 miliar yang sekaligus melanjutkan tren surplus secara beruntun sejak Mei 2020, dan tercatat sebagai nilai ekspor bulanan tertinggi sepanjang sejarah.
Produk ekspor nonmigas dari Indonesia yang menerima permintaan tertinggi di pasar dunia meliputi lemak dan minyak hewan/nabati, bahan bakar mineral, besi dan baja, mesin dan perlengkapan elektrik beserta bagiannya, serta karet dan produk karet.
Sedangkan lima negara yang menjadi pasar tujuan ekspor terbesar adalah Tiongkok (USD 46 miliar); Amerika Serikat (USD 23,13 miliar), Jepang (USD 15,18 miliar), India (USD 11,87 miliar) dan Malaysia (USD 9,66 miliar).
Mendag juga menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia yang telah mendukung acara pelepasan ekspor ini.
