Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin Berbagi Kasih Imlek | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Senyum ceria terpancar di wajah para manusia usia lanjut (manula) yang menghuni Panti Jompo Harapan Jaya saat datangnya belasan orang berpakaian rompi orange dari komunitas Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin, 14 Januari 2022.
Para penghuni Panti Jompo Harapan Jaya yang berlokasi di Jalan Platina Lorong 36 Titi Papan, merasa terhibur dengan kunjungan Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin yang dipimpin Wijaya selaku President dan Dr Agus Susanto yang menjabat IPP (Immediate Past President) dan sejumlah pengurus Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin.
Selain bertujuan silaturahmi antarsesama, Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin juga ingin berbagi kasih dalam merayakan Imlek 2573/Tahun 2022.
Pengurus Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin memberikan paket sembako dan bingkisan angpao. “Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin ingin berbagi kebahagian bersama penghuni panti jompo. Salah satu caranya dengan memberikan bingkisan angpao dan sembako maupun alat-alat kebutuhan sehari-hari,” ungkapnya.

Adapun paket sembako yang disediakan berupa minyak goreng, kaleng roti, pampers, angpao serta alat-alat kebutuhan seperti sabun, odol dan sebagainya.
Ia menambahkan, semangat berbagi komunitas Lion Club Medan tidak surut meski di tengah pandemi.
“Pandemi tidak menjadi alasan dan halangan bagi kita untuk beraktivitas sosial. Mengingat sebentar lagi perayaan Imlek, maka Lion Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin berinisiatif untuk menghibur para orangtua-orangtua kita yang sudah manula dengan tetap mengutamakan protokol kesehatan,” sebut Wijaya.
Wijaya mengatakan, semoga penghuni Panti Jompo Harapan Jaya terhibur dengan kedatangan kami. “Dan dapat merayakan Imlek tahun ini dengan ceria. Kami harap, semua penghuni panti diberikan kesehatan,” sebutnya.
Pengelola Panti Jompo Harapan Jaya, Ahok mengucapkan terimakasih atas kepedulian Lion Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin. “Para penghuni panti sangat senang dan terhibur atas kedatangan para rekan-rekan dari Lion Club Medan. The management of Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin gave food packages and red packets. “Lions Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin wants to share happiness with the residents of the nursing home. One way to do this is by giving red packets and basic necessities as well as tools for daily needs,” he said.
The food packages provided are in the form of cooking oil, cans of bread, pampers, red packets and necessary tools such as soap, toothpaste and so on.
He added, the spirit of sharing the Lion Club Medan community did not subside even in the midst of a pandemic.
“Pandemic is not an excuse and an obstacle for us to do social activities. Considering that the Chinese New Year celebration will soon be over, the Lion Club Medan Alumni Husni Thamrin took the initiative to entertain our elderly parents while still prioritizing health protocols,” said Wijaya.
