“Bila dahulu investasi emas hanya terbatas pada kepemilikan fisik, kini setiap orang bisa bertransaksi secara daring melalui perdagangan fisik emas digital. Selain itu, investasi fisik emas digital diharapkan dapat diterima dan dijadikan alternatif investasi oleh berbagai lapisan masyarakat termasuk investor milenial. Melalui perdagangan fisik emas digital ini, Bappebti berkomitmen menciptakan sarana berinvestasi yang mudah, aman, dan terjangkau bagi masyarakat serta memfasilitasi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan industri perdagangan fisik emas digital melalui bursa berjangka,” kata Plt Kepala Bappebti, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana.

Menurut Wisnu, Bappebti telah memberikan persetujuan kepada PT Indonesia Logam Pratama (merek dagang Treasury) dan PT Sehati Indonesia Sejahtera (Sakumas) sebagai pedagang fisik emas digital.

Dengan terbitnya persetujuan tersebut, masyarakat sudah dapat membeli langsung emas digital ke pedagang fisik emas digital yang telah mendapat persetujuan dari Bappebti.

Menurut Wisnu, pemberian persetujuan ini sesuai amanat Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Republik Indonesia nomor 119 tahun 2018 tentang Kebijakan Umum Perdagangan Pasar Fisik Emas Digital di Bursa Berjangka serta Peraturan Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi nomor 4 tahun 2019 tentang Ketentuan Teknis Penyelenggaraan Pasar Fisik Emas Digital di Bursa Berjangka dan perubahannya.

Sebelumnya, lanjut Wisnu, Bappebti juga sudah memberikan persetujuan kepada PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (BBJ) dan PT Bursa Komoditi dan Derivatif Indonesia (BKDI) untuk melakukan kegiatan penyelenggaraan pasar fisik emas digital serta memberikan persetujuan sebagai Lembaga Kliring dan Penjaminan Penyelesaian Transaksi Pasar Fisik Emas Digital kepada PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero) dan PT Indonesia Clearing House.

“Adanya bursa dan kliring pada perdagangan fisik emas digital di Indonesia diharapkan mampu memberikan kepastian hukum sekaligus perlindungan bagi masyarakat yang bertransaksi di pasar fisik emas digital di Indonesia. “Setiap pedagang fisik emas digital yang akan melakukan transaksi jual beli emas digital, wajib menempatkan sejumlah emas sebanyak 10.000 gram atau 10 kg. Sedangkan untuk perdagangan fisik emas digital di bursa berjangka, market maker (peserta) wajib menempatkan sejumlah emas sebanyak 20.000 gram atau 20 kg. Emas yang akan diperdagangkan baik melalui pedagang fisik emas digital maupun melalui bursa berjangka ditempatkan pada pengelola tempat penyimpanan yang telah disetujui Bappebti,” jelas Wisnu.

Kepala Biro Pembinaan dan Pengembangan Pasar Tirta Karma Senjaya menambahkan, berdasarkan peraturan Bappebti, beberapa persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk menjadi calon pedagang fisik emas digital diantaranya berbentuk badan usaha berbadan hukum (PT), memiliki sistem dan mekanisme transaksi fisik emas digital, memiliki modal sebesar Rp20 miliar, dan mampu mempertahankan modal akhir sebesar Rp16 miliar atau 2/3 dari total pengelolaan emas (mana yang lebih tinggi nilainya).

“Sementara itu, persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk menjadi bursa berjangka yaitu memiliki modal awal sebesar Rp100 miliar, memiliki peraturan dan tata tertib perdagangan emas digital, membentuk komite pasar fisik, memiliki fasilitas perdagangan untuk penyelenggaraan perdagangan emas digital, memiliki sistem pengawasan dan pelaporan, serta mendapat persetujuan Bappebti,” pungkas Tirta.
