Mendag Lutfi: Side Events G20 Harus Jadi Showcase Citra Positif Budaya Indonesia | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Mengusung kearifan lokal sebagai nilai lebih Presidensi G20 Indonesia 2022, penyelenggaraan Side Events G20 akan digelar di berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
Tujuannya, untuk mempromosikan keragaman budaya sekaligus potensi wisata dan investasi yang ada di Indonesia, serta menggerakkan perekonomian daerah.
“Side Events G20 harus menjadi showcase citra positif kemajuan dan budaya Indonesia. Penyelenggaran side events diharapkan dapat menjadi ajang untuk mempromosikan budaya, investasi, serta pariwisata di Indonesia. Tidak hanya itu, diharapkan pelaksanaan side events G20 di sejumlah daerah di Indonesia dapat menggerakkan perekonomian masyarakat dan mempercepat pemulihan ekonomi nasional,” ungkap Menteri Perdagangan (Mendag), Muhammad Lutfi.
Berdasarkan agenda Side Events G20 yang telah diinventarisasi tercatat 121 side events akan digelar pada Desember 2021 sampai November 2022 mendatang.

Penyelenggaraan Side Events G20 tersebut, beber Mendag Lutfi, tersebar di berbagai lokasi di Indonesia termasuk 5 daerah Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP), yaitu Danau Toba di Sumatra Utara; Borobudur, Magelang di Jawa Tengah; Mandalika di Nusa Tenggara Barat; Labuan Bajo di Nusa Tenggara Timur; dan Likupang di Sulawesi Utara.
Daerah lainnya yang akan didapuk menjadi tempat penyelenggaraan Side Events adalah Jakarta, Bali, Bintan, Batu, Bogor, Sorong, Surabaya, Makassar, Palembang, Belitung, Solo, Banjarmasin, dan Pontianak.

Mendag Lutfi berharap, Side Event G20 yang digelar di berbagai daerah dapat menggerakan perekonomian daerah. Terutama dalam memperkenalkan keunggulan produk lokal Indonesia.

The aim is to promote cultural diversity as well as tourism and investment potential in Indonesia, as well as to stimulate the regional economy.
“G20 side events must be a showcase of the positive image of progress and Indonesian culture. The holding of side events is expected to be an event to promote culture, investment, and tourism in Indonesia. Not only that, it is hoped that the implementation of G20 side events in a number of regions in Indonesia can stimulate the community’s economy and accelerate the recovery of the national economy,” said the Minister of Trade (Mendag), Muhammad Lutfi.
Based on the G20 Side Events agenda that has been inventoried, 121 side events will be held from December 2021 to November 2022.
The implementation of the G20 Side Events, explained Trade Minister Lutfi, is spread across various locations in Indonesia, including 5 Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) areas, namely Lake Toba in North Sumatra; Borobudur, Magelang in Central Java; Mandalika in West Nusa Tenggara; Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara; and Likupang in North Sulawesi.
