Institut Bisnis IT&B Berwacana Susun Kurikulum Kampus Merdeka
| OBROLANBISNIS.com — Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi mendorong Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Perguruan Tinggi Swasta untuk menerapkan program Kampus Merdeka, Merdeka Belajar.
Program Kampus Merdeka bertujuan mendorong mahasiswa untuk menguasai berbagai keilmuan guna bekal memasuki dunia kerja. Melalui kebijakan ini, Kampus Merdeka memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa memilih mata kuliah yang akan mereka ambil.
Mahasiswa diberikan juga kesempatan untuk mengambil mata kuliah di luar program studi pada perguruan tinggi yang sama; mengambil mata kuliah pada program studi yang sama di perguruan tinggi yang berbeda; mengambil mata kuliah pada program studi yang berbeda di perguruan tinggi yang berbeda; dan/atau pembelajaran di luar perguruan tinggi.
Bagi Institut Bisnis IT&B, program Kampus Merdeka, Merdeka Belajar adalah sebuah peluang bagi Perguruan Tinggi untuk melakukan perubahan kurikulum pendidikan.
“Peluang ini harus segera diaplikasikan dengan melakukan perubahan terutama perubahan yang bisa membuat Institut Bisnis IT&B menjadi lebih baik lagi dengan menyusun kurikulum Kampus Merdeka Merdeka Belajar,” sebut Rektor Institut Bisnis IT&B, Prof. Zulkarnain Lubis.
Gagasan itu dicetuskan Prof Zul, sapaan akrabnya, dalam seminar virtual dengan tema “Penyusunan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)”, dihadiri tiga pembicara dari Universitas Medan Area (UMA) dan para civitas Institut Bisnis IT&B, Kamis, 7 April 2022.

Rektor Prof Zul yakin bahwa kampus Institut Bisnis IT&B akan dapat menyusun kurikulum Kampus Merdeka Merdeka Belajar di tahun ini, untuk mewujudkan Perguruan Tinggi yang Link and Match dengan dunia industri serta sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah.
Ketiga pembicara yang diundang adalah Dr. Ir. Syahbudin Hasibuan, M.Si., yang membawakan Pengenalan tentang Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), Ifan Aulia Candra, SP., M.Biotek yang membawakan tema Kurikulum Implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dan Indah Apriliya, SP., M.Si. yang membawakan tema Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PPKM) tahun 2022.
Sementara itu, di tempat terpisah, Managing Director Institut Bisnis IT&B, Dr Agus Susanto kepada awak media, Jumat, 8 April 2022, mengaku sangat mendukung adanya seminar yang dilaksanakan guna untuk penerapan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).
“Saya berharap dengan diadakannya seminar ini, jajaran top level management dan para kaprodi akan segera mengimplementasikan MBKM,” ujar Dr. Agus Susanto. ***
IT&B Business Institute with the discourse of Compiling the Independent Campus Curriculum
| OBROLANBISNIS.com — The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology encourages State Universities and Private Universities to implement the Merdeka Campus program, Merdeka Learning.
The Independent Campus Program aims to encourage students to master various sciences in order to prepare them to enter the world of work. Through this policy, Merdeka Campus gives students the opportunity to choose the courses they will take.
Students are also given the opportunity to take courses outside the study program at the same university; take courses in the same study program at different universities; take courses in different courses at different universities; and/or learning outside of tertiary institutions.
For the IT&B Business Institute, the Merdeka Campus, Merdeka Learning program is an opportunity for universities to make changes to their educational curriculum.
“This opportunity must be immediately applied by making changes, especially changes that can make the IT&B Business Institute even better by compiling a curriculum for the Merdeka Learning Campus,” said the Chancellor of the IT&B Business Institute, Prof. Zulkarnain Lubis.
The idea was sparked by Prof. Zul, as he is known, in a virtual seminar with the theme “Developing an Independent Learning Curriculum for Independent Campus (MBKM)”, attended by three speakers from the Medan Area University (UMA) and the IT&B Business Institute civitas, Thursday, April 7, 2022.
The Chancellor Prof. Zul believes that the IT&B Business Institute campus will be able to develop a curriculum for the Merdeka Merdeka Learning Campus this year, to create a university that is link and match with the industrial world and in accordance with government regulations.
The three invited speakers were Dr. Ir. Syahbudin Hasibuan, M.Sc., who presented the Introduction to the Independent Learning Curriculum for the Independent Campus (MBKM), Ifan Aulia Candra, SP., M.Biotek who brought the theme of the Independent Learning Implementation Curriculum on an Independent Campus (MBKM) and Indah Apriliya, SP., M.Si. which brought the theme of the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PPKM) in 2022.
Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Managing Director of the IT&B Business Institute, Dr Agus Susanto told the media crew, Friday, April 8, 2022, that he strongly supports the seminar which is being held for the implementation of Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM).
“I hope that by holding this seminar, top level management and the head of study programs will immediately implement MBKM,” said Dr. Agus Susanto. ***
