Saat ini, Telkomsel telah menggelar lebih dari 14 ribu BTS 4G/LTE di wilayah operasional provinsi Aceh dan Sumatera Utara (Sumbagut). Hingga pertengahan bulan April 2022, Telkomsel akan melakukan upgrade jaringan 3G ke 4G/LTE di 15 Kecamatan yang ada di wilayah Aceh Tenggara, 6 Kecamatan di Gayo Luwes dan 6 Kecamatan di Nias Barat.
