PWI Apresiasi Kontribusi Nyata TPL | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Rajut silaturahmi antara PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (TPL) dengan insan media kembali terjalin, setelah masa endemi ditetapkan pemerintah.
Silaturahmi di bulan suci Ramadan dihiasi dengan kegiatan berbuka bersama PT TPL dan insan media sekaligus bersama anak-anak yatim piatu, Rabu, 20 April 2022.
Turut hadir Direktur PT TPL Jandres Halomoan Silalahi, Manager Corporate Communication Norma Hutajulu, Ketua PWI Sumut Farianda Putra Sinik, para senioran jurnalis di Kota Medan, Sumut.
Jandres Silalahi mengucapkan selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa bagi yang menjalankannya. “Jalinan silaturahmi yang seperti biasanya dilakukan TPL bersama insan media sempat terputus ketika pandemi Covid-19 menerpa negeri. Dan barulah di kesempatan bulan Ramadan ini kita dapat menyambung kembali hubungan silaturahmi ini,” ungkap Jandres Silalahi.
Ia menyampaikan bahwa PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (TPL) adalah perusahaan global penghasil pulp yang berbahan baku pohon Eucalyptus. Konsesi hutan tanaman industri (HTI) yang dikelola oleh TPL seluas 167 ribu hektar.
Dalam kegiatannya, TPL tetap berkomitmen menjaga areal kawasan lindung, menjaga kawasan yang telah diokupasi masyarakat dan tetap memprioritaskan kemitraan bersama masyarakat di sekitar areal TPL yang ada di 12 kabupaten/kota Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut).

“Dari 167 ribu hektar luasan yang diberikan pemerintah, baru 49 ribu hektar yang dikelola perusahaan. Tak hanya mengutamakan bisnis, TPL juga melakukan kemitraan dengan masyarakat. Sekitar 3.100 hektar lahan yang dikelola bersama masyarakat ditanami Eucalyptus, dengan sistem bagi hasil,” beber Jandres.
Usai buka bersama, Direktur TPL Jandres Silalahi menerima piagam penghargaan dari Ketua PWI Sumut, Farianda Putra Sinik. Sekaligus juga TPL menyerahkan santunan kepada belasan anak yatim piatu.
“Penghargaan ini sebagai bentuk apresiasi PWI Sumut kepada TPL yang telah berkontribusi banyak bagi masyarakat dan juga insan media,” ungkap Farianda.
Bukti kontribusi nyata TPL dalam momen Ramadan ini adalah dengan mengajak para anak yatim piatu ikutserta berbuka bersama dengan para awak media.
“Ini patut kita apresiasikan. Dan keberadaan corporasi TPL harus tetap kita suport. Jadikan momen Ramadhan untuk selalu melakukan kebaikan kepada sesama,” ucap Farianda. ***

The gathering in the holy month of Ramadan was decorated with breaking the fast with PT TPL and media personnel as well as with orphans, Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Also present were the Director of PT TPL Jandres Halomoan Silalahi, Manager of Corporate Communications Norma Hutajulu, Head of North Sumatra PWI Farianda Putra Sinik, senior journalists in the city of Medan, North Sumatra.
Jandres Silalahi wished everyone a happy fasting worship. “The relationship, which TPL usually does with media personnel, was interrupted when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country. And only then can we reconnect with this month of Ramadan,” said Jandres Silalahi.
He said that PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (TPL) is a global company that produces pulp made from Eucalyptus trees. The industrial plantation forest concession (HTI) managed by TPL covers an area of 167 thousand hectares.
In its activities, TPL remains committed to maintaining protected areas, protecting areas that have been occupied by the community and continuing to prioritize partnerships with communities around TPL areas in 12 districts/cities of North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra).
“Of the 167 thousand hectares of land given by the government, only 49 thousand hectares are managed by the company. Not only prioritizing business, TPL also makes partnerships with the community. Around 3,100 hectares of land managed with the community are planted with Eucalyptus, with a profit-sharing system,” explained Jandres.
After breaking the fast together, TPL Director Jandres Silalahi received a certificate of appreciation from the Chair of the North Sumatra PWI, Farianda Putra Sinik. At the same time, TPL also handed over compensation to dozens of orphans.
“This award is a form of appreciation from North Sumatra PWI to TPL who has contributed a lot to the community and also the media,” said Farianda.
The proof of TPL’s real contribution in this Ramadan moment is by inviting orphans to participate in breaking the fast together with the media crew.
“We should appreciate this. And we must continue to support the existence of the TPL corporation. Make the moment of Ramadan to always do good to others,” said Farianda. ***
