Perkumpulan Teochew Bersatu Medan-Sumut Bagikan 100 Paket Sembako pada Tukang Becak | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Dalam menyambut Lebaran Idul Fitri 1443 Hijriah, Perkumpulan Teochew Bersatu Medan-Sumut kembali mengadakan kegiatan bakti sosial di gedung Yayasan Teochew Jalan Gandhi, Sei Rengas II, Kecamatan Medan Area, Sabtu, 23 April 2022.
Kegiatan bakti sosial itu berupa pembagian sembako kepada 100 tukang becak di sekitaran jalan tersebut.
Bakti sosial itu juga dihadiri oleh Ketua Perkumpulan Teochew Bersatu Sumatera Utara, Teh Kia Tjoh dan Ketua Perkumpulan Teochew Bersatu Medan, Dr Agus Susanto Tan, Presiden Lions club Medan Liberty Kang Meri.
Menurut Ketua Perkumpulan Teochew Bersatu Medan, Dr Agus Susanto Tan, pembagian sembako ini juga dipimpin oleh Ketua Bidang Sosial Perkumpulan Tiochew Bersatu Medan, Jacob lie. Selain itu, pihak yayasan Teochew bekerjasama dengan Perkumpulan Lions Club Medan Liberty.
Kegiatan ini tujuannya untuk turut membagikan kebahagiaan kepada masyarakat dalam menyambut hari raya Idul Fitri di tahun ini.
“Jadi hari ini ada 100 sembako yang isinya berupa beras, minyak goreng, mie instan, gula dan roti dibagikan untuk menyambut hari raya umat muslim,” ucapnya.
Pembagian sembako ini, lanjut Agus merupakan kegiatan rutin yang kerap dilakukan oleh pihaknya setiap peringatan hari besar keagamaan.

“Kegiatan bakti sosial di Perkumpulan Toechew ini sudah sering dilakukan, bukan hari ini saja tapi setiap tahun pada hari-hari besar keagamaan biasanya kita rutin membagikan sembako dan hal lain sebagainya,” jelasnya.
Selain rutin mengadakan pembagian sembako pihaknya juga melakukan bakti sosial berupa bedah rumah warga yang tidak layak.
“Jadi kita sering mengadakan kegiatan dengan mengajak dan bekerjasama dengan komunitas bahkan instansi pemerintah untuk mengadakan bakti sosial ini,” jelasnya.
Untuk itu, ia berharap, agar kegiatan pembagian 100 sembako ini berjalan lancar dan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan.
“Kita mengadakan kegiatan ini dengan cepat agar tidak terjadi kerumunan. Mudah-mudahan bantuan ini bisa membantu para masyarakat pra sejahtera di sekitar daerah ini,” tukasnya. ***

The social service activity was in the form of distributing basic necessities to 100 pedicab drivers around the road.
The social service was also attended by the chairman of the Teochew Bersatu Association of North Sumatra, Teh Kia Tjoh and the chairman of the Medan United Teochew Association, Dr Agus Susanto Tan, President of Lions Club Medan Liberty Kang Meri.
According to the Head of the Medan Bersatu Teochew Association, Dr Agus Susanto Tan, the distribution of basic necessities was also led by the Head of the Social Affairs Division of the Medan United Tiochew Association, Jacob Lie. In addition, the Teochew Foundation collaborates with the Lions Club Medan Liberty Association.
This activity aims to share happiness with the community in welcoming the Eid al-Fitr this year.
“So today there are 100 basic necessities which consist of rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, sugar and bread to be distributed to welcome Muslim holidays,” he said.
The distribution of basic needs, Agus continued, is a routine activity that is often carried out by his party every commemoration of religious holidays.
“Social service activities at the Toechew Association have often been carried out, not only today but every year on major religious holidays we usually routinely distribute basic necessities and other things,” he explained.
In addition to routinely distributing groceries, his party also carries out social services in the form of repairing houses that are not proper.
“So we often hold activities by inviting and collaborating with communities and even government agencies to hold this social service,” he explained.
For this reason, he hopes that the distribution of 100 basic necessities will run smoothly and adhere to health protocols.
