Subholding Gas Pertamina Tanam 1.103 Mangrove di Pesisir Tambakrejo | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Subholding Gas Pertamina melalui afiliasi PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) mewujudkan kegiatan tanggung jawab sosial dan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan melalui penanaman 1.103 bibit Mangrove di pesisir Tambakrejo, Semarang, Jawa Tengah.
Penanaman bibit mangrove berdampingan dengan pemukiman warga, tepatnya di sekitar lokasi Offshore Receiving Facility Porong – Tambakrejo Pertamina Gas Operation East Java Area (ORF Porong – Tambakrejo Pertamina OEJA).
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu mencegah intrusi air laut ke pemukiman masyarakat di pesisir Tambakrejo yang terjadi akibat daratan terkikis ombak air laut. Bibit pohon mangrove yang ditanam kali ini merupakan donasi dari 149 Pekerja atau Perwira Pertagas.
Penanaman mangrove ini juga merupakan rangkaian dari kampanye Hari Bumi Tahun 2022 Pertagas yang telah dimulai sejak 22 April 2022. Selama periode kampanye Hari Bumi, seluruh pekerja maupun mitra kerja Pertagas diberikan edukasi terkait pemanasan global dan berbagai upaya untuk penyelamatkan bumi dari efek Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) dan kerusakan lingkungan lainnya.
Sesuai dengan tema Hari Bumi Tahun 2022 yakni Invest in Our Planet, pohon Mangrove dapat menjadi modal bagi masing-masing Perwira yang berpartisipasi untuk mengimbangi emisi gas rumah kaca, karena 1 Pohon Mangrove dapat menyerap 4,7 kg CO2e/tahun. Sehingga dengan total pohon terkumpul, sebesar 5 ton gas rumah kaca dapat diserap setiap tahunnya.
Penanaman pohon mangrove dilaksanakan oleh jajaran Managemen Pertagas dan perwakilan Perwira bekerjasama dengan lindungihutan.com dan tentunya masyarakat Tambakrejo sebagai penerima manfaat langsung dari upaya penghijauan ini.

Pertamina Gas Subholding Plants 1,103 Mangroves in Tambakrejo Coast | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Pertamina Gas Subholding through its affiliate PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) realizes sustainable social and environmental responsibility activities by planting 1,103 Mangrove seedlings on the coast of Tambakrejo, Semarang, Central Java.
The planting of mangrove seedlings is adjacent to residential areas, to be precise around the location of the Offshore Receiving Facility Porong – Tambakrejo Pertamina Gas Operation East Java Area (ORF Porong – Tambakrejo Pertamina OEJA).
This activity aims to help prevent seawater intrusion into community settlements on the Tambakrejo coast which occurs due to the land being eroded by sea waves. The mangrove tree seedlings planted this time are donations from 149 Pertagas workers or officers.
This mangrove planting is also a part of Pertagas’ 2022 Earth Day campaign which has been started since April 22, 2022. During the Earth Day campaign period, all Pertagas workers and partners are given education regarding global warming and various efforts to save the earth from the effects of Greenhouse Gases (Greenhouse Gases).
