TPL Terima Penghargaan Bidang Keselamatan Kerja dari Gubernur Sumut | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara memberikan penghargaan (An Award) kepada PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (TPL), sebagai salah satu perusahaan yang melakukan Penerapan Norma Keselamatan Kerja di Tempat Kerja.
Disaksikan langsung Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Sumut), Edy Rahmayadi dan sejumlah Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda), penyerahan penghargaan juga dilakukan kepada sejumlah perusahaan, dalam acara Halal Bihalal Serikat Pekerja/Serikat Buruh Sumatera Utara dalam Rangka Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1443 H dan Perayaan May Day, Jumat, 27 Mei 2022, di Aula H.T Rizal Nurdin di Gubernuran.
Penghargaan TPL diterima oleh perwakilan perusahaan Staf Senior Sosial Capital Medan Rahmat Hidayat Matondang. “Perusahaan sangat berterima kasih dan bersyukur pemerintah Provinsi Sumut memberikan penghargaan ini,” kata Rahmat.
Rahmat menambahkan, penghargaan merupakan bentuk kepercayaan pemerintah kepada perusahaan, dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasional kerja bersama para pekerja yang telah diatur dan sesuai dengan ketentuan dari pemerintah Provinsi, tentunya dibawah pengawasan Dinas Tenaga Kerja Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
“Mewakili perusahaan, kami mengucapkan terima kasih atas penghargaan dan kepercayaan ini, dan kami sebagai perusahaan penghasil pulp di Sumut, selalu berupaya melakukan yang terbaik untuk dunia investasi, terutama pelaksanaan penerapan norma keselamatan kerja dilingkungan operasional perusahaan,” ungkap Rahmat bersama staf social capital TPL lainnya, Sofen Evin dan Ebenezer Simanulang, Senin, 30 Mei 2022.
Saat ini, TPL juga telah mendaftarkan seluruh pekerjanya pada program Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan (Jamsostek). Hal tersebut sejalan dengan Instruksi Presiden Republik Indonesia nomor 2 tahun 2021, tentang Optimalisasi Pelaksanaan Program Jamsostek bagi pekerja.

“Saat ini, seluruh pekerja dalam perjanjian kerja langsung dengan TPL telah didaftarkan dalam BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, sesuai dengan ketentuan UU dan regulasi terkait yang mengatur,” ujar Kepala Human Resources TPL, Martin dalam situasi terpisah.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Edy Rahmayadi dalam sambutannya mengatakan, melalui peringatan Hari Buruh (May Day) diharapkan seluruh pekerja mampu mewujudkan peningkatan ekonominya dengan memaksimalkan kinerja.
Sehingga di tahun 2023 mendatang, Gubsu berharap ada kenaikan upah bagi para pekerja buruh. ***
