CSR TPL Raih Penghargaan dari Kemendes PDTT | OBROLANBISNIS.com — PT Toba Pulp Lestari (TPL) kembali membuktikan tindakannya dalam implementasi Program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Berkat konsistensi dalam mendukung pencapaian Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), TPL meraih kategori Silver Bidang Pelibatan dan Pengembangan masyarakat program penciptaan lapangan kerja serta peningkatan keterampilan melalui program Gerobak Madu dalam ajang CSR dan Pembangunan Desa Berkelanjutan Awards 2022.
Penghargaan ini diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi (Kemendes PDTT) bekerjasama dengan Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum (ISSF) di JS Luwansa Hotel & Convention Center Jakarta, Kamis, 23 Juni 2022.
Sebagai bentuk kepedulian dan kontribusi kepada masyarakat TPL dalam Program Gerobak Madu yang dilakukan di Desa Aek Natolu, Kecamatan Lumban Julu, Kabupaten Toba sejak tahun 2017.
Gerobak Madu merupakan program CSR yang dilaksanakan oleh TPL untuk meningkatkan taraf ekonomi petani madu yang ada di kawasan sekitar perusahaan.
Dalam program ini, TPL memberikan pelatihan kepada petani madu dengan menghadirkan pelatih untuk membantu meningkatkan keterampilan para petani.

Penganugerahan diserahkan langsung oleh Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia, Prof Dr (HC) KH Ma’ruf Amin didampingi Menteri Desa, PDTT Republik Indonesia Dr (HC) Drs A Halim Iskandar MPd dan Ketua Umum ISSF Sudarmanto kepada Community Development (CD) Manager TPL, Ramida Siringoringo.
Ramida mengatakan, penghargaan ini akan menjadi motivasi bagi TPL untuk terus berkontribusi membangun masyarakat di wilayah operasional perusahaan.
Selain itu, TPL siap bersinergi dengan masyarakat untuk menggerakkan potensi desa yang dimiliki agar memberikan dampak ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Sehingga, diharapkannya masyarakat sekitar perusahaan dapat mandiri secara ekonomi.
“Kami mengucapkan terimakasih atas penghargaan yang kami terima, tumbuh dan berkembang bersama masyarakat merupakan salah satu misi perusahaan, karena TPL adalah bagian dari masyarakat. Untuk itu, secara berkelanjutan TPL terus berkontribusi untuk pengembangan potensi desa dan pemberdayaan masyarakat,” ujar Ramida.
Menteri Halim Iskandar mengatakan, pada saat peluncuran Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) sebagai entitas badan hukum baru, Presiden Joko Widodo mengarahkan dengan tegas agar perusahaan negara dan swasta yang beroperasi di desa – desa menyertakan Bumdes dalam aktivitas ekonominya.

“Tujuannya agar ekonomi desa melaju lebih cepat lagi, salah satu wujud kerja sama ialah kegiatan CSR secara khusus yang mampu mendukung, berhasil membangun desa secara berkelanjutan,” katanya.
Wapres Ma’ruf Amin mengatakan, pemberian penghargaan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan motivasi kepada Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) dan Badan Usaha Milik Swasta (BUMS) untuk mendukung pengembangan Bumdes melalui program CSR.
“Diharapkan dapat mengembangkan upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat desa,” ucap Beliau.
Penyelenggaraan award ini memiliki empat kriteria penilaian untuk Badan Usaha (Perusahaan BUMN dan Swasta) yaitu memiliki indikator perencanaan program, pelaksanaan secara umum terdapat fasilitasi program, monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan secara rutin dan dampak dari program seperti adanya penambahan jumlah unit usaha Bumdes, ada perubahan yang lebih baik, berkontribusi terhadap daerah, peningkatan jumlah tenaga kerja, berkontribusi terhadap kegiatan sosial budaya masyarakat serta berkontribusi bagi pelestarian lingkungan.
