Mendag Zulkifli Hasan Dorong Produk UKM RI Tembus Pasar Uni Emirat Arab | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Menteri Perdagangan (Mendag), Zulkifli Hasan melakukan kunjungan ke kantor Lulu Group International sekaligus ritel modern Lulu Hypermarket di Abu Dhabi, Uni Emirat Arab (UEA), Kamis, 30 Juni 2022.

Pada kunjungan ini, Mendag Zulkifli Hasan mendorong produk Indonesia, khususnya produk usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) semakin menembus pasar Timur Tengah, khususnya Uni Emirat Arab.

“Diharapkan pengusaha Indonesia, khususnya UKM lebih mendapat kesempatan dalam memenuhi pasar Uni Emirat Arab (Timur Tengah), sehingga semakin banyak produk lokal yang go internasional,” kata Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.

Menurut Mendag Zulkifli Hasan, peran jaringan Lulu Group International, khususnya Lulu Hypermarket sangat strategis dalam membantu produk UKM Indonesia memasuki pasar Uni Emirat Arab. Untuk itu, diharapkan fasilitasi dan bantuan dari Lulu Hypermarket dalam memenuhi persyaratan pasar Uni Emirat Arab.

“Lulu Hypermarket dapat memberikan bimbingan teknis dan promosi bagi pelaku usaha Indonesia khususnya UKM. Selain itu, dapat menyampaikan informasi detail terkait kebutuhan produk di pasar Uni Emirat Arab termasukdalam pelabelan, pengemasan, pendistribusian, dan pembagian segmentasi pasar,” jelas Mendag.

Kemendag, lanjut Mendag, juga akan memfasilitasi para pelaku usaha dan produsen Indonesia yang telah terkurasi untuk bisa memasarkan produknya melalui jaringan Lulu International, tidak hanya di pasar Uni Emirat Arab, tapi juga di seluruh dunia.

“Kemendag juga akan membuka akses pasar langsung antara Lulu Group International dengan para pelaku UKM,” tambah Mendag Zulhas.

Penandatanganan MoU ini menjadi salah satu rangkaian kegiatan penutupan Paviliun Indonesia pada Expo 2020 Dubai yang telah digelar selama enam bulan.

Implementasi MoU tersebut, Kemendag telah melakukan penjajakan kesepakatan bisnis (business matching) secara hibrida dengan lima lini usaha yang dimiliki Lulu Group International yang terdiri dari produk dekorasi rumah, garmen, buah-buahan, barang kebutuhan sehari-hari, dan peralatan rumah tangga.
