“Salah satu faktor pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia adalah konsumsi rumah tangga yang kontribusinya mencapai 53,65 persen terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dan tumbuh 4,34 persen pada kuartal I 2022,“ terang Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.
Mendag Zulkifli Hasan mengungkapkan, acara Indonesia Retail Summit 2022 meliputi kegiatan Hari Belanja Diskon Indonesia (HBDI) 2022 dan Hari Retail Modern Indonesia (HARMONI) 2022.
Acara ini merupakan kesempatan emas bagi anggota Hippindo yang bergerak di sektor ritel, kuliner dan hiburan untuk dapat menggali potensi pasar secara global.
“Saya berharap acara ini dapat turut meningkatkan konsumsi domestik serta menciptakan peluang lebih besar untuk perkembangan dan kemajuan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM), para pelaku ekonomi kreatif, pusat perbelanjaan dan pelaku bisnis ritel di seluruh Indonesia. Di samping itu, dengan acara ini juga diharapkan dapat menarik wisatawan mancanegara sekaligus memperkenalkan kebudayaan Indonesia,”jelas Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.
Mendag Zulkifli Hasan menambahkan, acara ini merupakan salah satu sarana mempromosikan produk-produk dalam negeri, baik makanan, minuman, kerajinan maupun fesyen, baik untuk konsumen dalam negeri maupun pasar luar negeri.
