Dedi Iskandar: The Most Strategic Communication and Information Institution in Al Washliyah | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Chairman of the Regional Management (PW) of Al Washliyah North Sumatra (North Sumatra), Dr H Dedi Iskandar Batubara S.Sos SH MSP said that the Communication and Information Agency (Kominfo) is the most strategic in Al Washliyah.

Because, the Kominfo institution is an estuary so that all levels of society know what Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah is.

“From the mountain, down and down to the valley. The estuary is here. So the door before going to the sea is here (Kominfo-ed). So that only everyone else knows what Al Washliyah is like. we do that,” said when opening the Digital Journalism Training, at Raz Hotel Jalan Dr Mansyur Medan, Saturday, October 8, 2022.

This DPD RI member also agrees with the view of the Head of the Communications and Informatics Institute, Al Washliyah of North Sumatra, Susilo that the Kominfo institution is a necessity that must participate in it.

“We must participate in the era of digitalization and rapid technological progress today. It requires all of us organizations for Islamic society, including Al Washliyah, to prepare for this, to have a Kominfo institution that can shift information to many people out there,” said Dedi.

“About who we are and what are our jobs. I apologize,” said Dedi while giving an example of the inauguration ceremony in Dairi Regency some time ago, as if there was an assumption that Al Washliyah was a radical and hard-line organization.

Dedi said it was because the one who gave that assumption was because he had not received complete information about Al Washliyah. Dedi was annoyed with him, meaning that there was a process of transforming information about Al Washliyah which was not understood by the figures in North Sumatra.

“It means that there is something wrong with me. As a leader in North Sumatra, I have not been able to provide access to a lot of information to the general public,” he said.

While joking, Dedi said, it means tomorrow if there are still figures who still think of Al Wasliyah as a radical institution, hardliners can’t be talked to, very closed, can’t open a discussion room and so on, that’s not my fault anymore. “I can give you one, Susilo,” said Dedi.

“Why can’t Kominfo open a place where people seek as much information as possible about Al Washliyah. This is important,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Communications and Informatics Institute, Susilo hoped that all the training participants would really be able to absorb the knowledge conveyed by the resource persons. ***
