Disebutkannya, pembangunan pabrik baru migor tersebut merupakan salah satu program strategis PTPN group guna mengimplementasikan program strategis nasional khususnya dalam hal hilirisasi komoditi kelapa sawit, sebagaimana tertuang dalam peraturan Menko Perekonomian nomor 9 tahun 2022.
Kepada wartawan Muhammad Abdul Gani menyebutkan, selama 5 tahun ke depan PTPN Group akan terus meningkatkan hilirisasi sektor pangan melalui peningkatan produksi CPO dari 2,67 juta ton menjadi 3,3 juta ton serta peningkatan produksi migor hingga 4 kali lipat atau dari 460.000 ton menjadi 1,8 juta ton migor per tahun.
Abdul Gani menyampaikan, sebelumnya PT Industri Nabati Lestari telah memiliki pabrik pengolahan minyak sawit dengan kapasitas ulah Rp750.000 ton CPO per tahun atau setara 579.000 dan migor per tahun. Rencananya, pabrik baru ini akan mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2024.
Pada tahun 2025 memproduksi 3 juta ton dan saat ini 2,9 juta ton dan dari 3,5 juta ton saat ini, yang 3 juta ton diolah menjadi industri hilir.
Sementara itu, Direktur PT Industri Nabati Lestari, Hasyim Thoriq menyampaikan, dengan adanya pabrik baru tersebut ditargetkan tahun 2024 total kapasitas pabrik pengolahan migor milik PT Industri Nabati Lestari dapat mencapai 1,5 juta ton CPO per tahun atau setara dengan produksi migor sebesar 1,16 juta ton per tahun.

“Sejauh ini, rata-rata produksi mencapai 90% dari total kapasitas,” ujar Hasyim seraya menambahkan, pihaknya menjual produk migor ke pasar luar negeri maupun pasar domestik melalui PT. INL dengan 4 brand migor, antara lain Salvaco, INL, Nusakita dan MinyaKita.
