Selama momen perayaan Natal 2022 dan Tahun Baru 2023, Telkomsel memproyeksikan adanya lonjakan trafik layanan data (payload) sebesar 17,6 persen dibandingkan dengan rerata hari biasa, dengan total payload diperkirakan mencapai 52,5 petabyte atau tumbuh 19,1 persen apabila dibandingkan dengan periode NARU tahun sebelumnya.

Proyeksi pertumbuhan layanan data tersebut diperkirakan akan didorong oleh lonjakan pada sejumlah pemanfaatan akses layanan berbasis digital, mulai dari layanan media sosial yang diprediksi tumbuh sekira 31,7 persen, layanan komunikasi (instant messaging dan video conference) melonjak 27,8 persen, layanan streaming video meningkat sekira 29,4 persen, layanan mobile gaming melonjak hingga 18,6 persen, akses browsing naik 24,1 persen, dan akses layanan e-commerce tumbuh sekira 35 persen.
