Year 2023 | APERSI Targets to Build 2,500 Cheap Houses in North Sumatra | OBROLANBISNIS.com — The Association of Indonesian Housing and Settlement Developers (APERSI) targets to produce 2,500 low-cost housing units in 2023.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the North Sumatra APERSI DPD, Irwansyah Putra Ray at the 2023 APERSI DPD Regional Meeting (Musda) which took place in Medan, Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Musda II DPD APERSI 2023 was attended by the Chairperson of the APERSI DPP, Junaidi Abdillah, the Chair of the DPP and the board members of the North Sumatra APERSI DPD and APERSI DPC throughout North Sumatra.

According to Irwansyah Putra Ray, the housing and settlement business in North Sumatra still has a chance to be grabbed by APERSI. “This opportunity must be worked on by APERSI in 2023. For this reason, APERSI North Sumatra targets to produce 2,500 low-cost housing units in 2023,” said Irwansyah Putra Ray.

He said the growth rate in terms of quality and quantity that had been achieved by North Sumatra’s APERSI continued to grow. “The expected growth is around 20 percent in 2023, the same as production in 2022 which continues to grow 20 percent,” he explained.

Irwansyah Putra Ray invited all APERSI members of North Sumatra to continue to strive for housing and settlement production. “We must continue to strive for production in addition to quantity as well as quality,” said Irwansyah.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the APERSI DPP, Junaidi Abdillah admitted, the performance of North Sumatra’s APERSI continues to be followed up on, and since Mr. Irwansyah’s leadership with friends his achievements have been extraordinary.

In the midst of a pandemic, APERSI is still able to survive and prove its existence in producing cheap KPR houses for the Indonesian people.

“During a pandemic, it turns out that our industry (APERSI) is still running. While factories are laying off workers, housing developers don’t do that. Even though growth is slow, it’s still growing positively,” he said.

The Chairperson of the APERSI DPP hopes that in the future it must be better and continue to maintain commitment to APERSI’s vision and mission. “Being an administrator is not easy, there will be a lot of pressure from members, especially members who experience difficulties in terms of how to make KPR easy and so on,” he explained. ***
