Asian Agri Peduli Banjir di 14 Desa | OBROLANBISNIS.com — Asian Agri melalui unit-unit bisnis yang berada di Sumatera Utara, Riau dan Jambi memberikan bantuan paket bahan pokok (sembako) kepada masyarakat yang berada di sekitar wilayah operasional Perusahaan yang terkena dampak bencana banjir.

Pemberian bantuan sembako dilakukan dari bulan Desember 2023 hingga Januari 2024 dengan total 14 desa yang berada di 3 provinsi.

Kegiatan ini merupakan komitmen dan kepedulian, serta tanggung jawab sosial Perusahaan kepada warga setempat. Pemberian bantuan di Sumatera Utara dilakukan oleh PT Nusa Pusaka Kencana (PT. NPK) dan PT Supra Matra Abadi (PT. SMA) kepada 2 desa, yaitu Desa Bahilang yang terletak di Kecamatan Tebing Syahbandar, Kabupaten Serdang Berdagai, dan Desa Teluk Panji yang terletak di Kecamatan Kampung Rakyat, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan.
Kemudian untuk Provinsi Riau, bantuan disalurkan oleh PT Inti Indosawit Subur (PT. IIS), PT Mitra Unggul Pusaka (PT. MUP), dan PT. Rigunas Agri Utama (PT. RAU) kepada 9 desa, yaitu 3 desa yang berada di Kecamatan Singingi Hilir, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, yaitu Desa Koto Baru, Desa Sungai Paku dan Desa Tanjung Pauh, kemudian 1 desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Langgam, Kabupaten Pelalawan, yaitu Desa Tambak, 4 desa di Kecamatan Peranap, Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, yaitu, Desa Semelinang Tebing, Desa Pauh Ranap, Desa Katipo Pura dan Desa Gumanti, dan 1 desa di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci, Kabupaten Pelalawan, yaitu Desa Pangkalan Kerinci.

PT IIS yang terletak di Riau menyerahkan bantuan kemanusiaan melalui Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Pelalawan agar dapat didistribusikan kepada korban banjir yang berada di Desa Pangkalan Kerinci pada tanggal 19 Januari 2024.

Bantuan tersebut diserahkan langsung kepada Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Pelalawan, berupa beras 1.000 kg dan 200 kardus mie instan.

Kepala Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Pelalawan, Ewin Rommel, MARS mengucapkan terima kasih kepada perusahaan yang telah memberikan bantuan untuk korban banjir.

Selanjutnya, pemberian bantuan di Provinsi Jambi dilakukan oleh PT Rigunas Agri Utama (PT. RAU) kepada 3 desa, yaitu Dusun Tanjung Dani, Desa Tuo Sumay dan Desa Teriti yang terletak di Kecamatan Sumay, Kabupaten Tebo.

Pada tanggal 22 Januari 2024, PT. RAU menyerahkan bantuan berupa 250 kg beras, 50 kardus mie instant dan 50 papan telor kepada Desa Tuo Sumay dan diterima langsung oleh Sekretaris Desa Tuo Sumay, Faizal Efendi.
