“Terima kasih petani, saya sangat senang kita panen padi sawah ini, ini merupakan dukungan ketersediaan pangan kita, saya berterima kasih pada petani, karena terus bekerja,” kata Pj Gubernur Hassanudin pada panen padi sawah di Desa Wonosari, Tanjungmorawa, Deliserdang, Selasa, 27 Februari 2024.

Untuk itu, Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumut juga tidak henti-henti memberikan dukungan berupa bantuan pada petani di Sumut. Pada setiap kesempatan, Pj Gubernur selalu menyerahkan bantuan alat pertanian pada masyarakat pertanian, saat berkunjung ke daerah.

Pada kesempatan itu, Pj Gubernur juga menyerahkan bantuan secara simbolis pada kelompok tani di Deliserdang, mulai dari traktor, handsprayer elektrik, benih padi, jagung, cabai, durian dan alpukat. Diharapkan, bantuan tersebut dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya untuk peningkatan produksi pertanian Sumut.

“Dengan dorongan bantuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi pertanian kita,” kata Hassanudin.

Usai memanen padi, Hassanudin juga disambut para petani yang menunggunya. Petani yang sudah menunggunya pun menyerahkan hasil taninya pada Hassanudin, mulai dari beras, pisang, cabai merah dan bawang merah.
