Kunjungan dari Temasek Polytechnic ke Institut Bisnis IT&B merupakan kunjungan balasan dan menindaklanjuti perjanjian kerjasama antara Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan Temasek Polytechnic yang ditandatangani pada 11 Januari 2024, saat Institut Bisnis IT&B melakukan kunjungan di Temasek Polytechnic, Singapura.

Institut Bisnis IT&B dan Temasek Polytechnic sepakat untuk melakukan Pertukaran Budaya International, terkhusus antara Indonesia dengan Singapura. Sehingga, kegiatan International Exchange Culture tersebut melibatkan mahasiswa/i dan dosen dari Institut Bisnis IT&B untuk saling berinteraksi dengan mahasiswa/i dan dosen dari Temasek Polytechnic.

Managing Director Institut Bisnis IT&B, Dr. Agus Susanto Tan menyampaikan, kunjungan dari rombongan dari Temasek Polytechnic akan menjadi semangat baru dan motivasi bagi Institut Bisnis IT&B untuk terus berkolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi luar negeri.

“Suatu kehormatan dan kebanggaan bagi Institut Bisnis IT&B dalam menyambut kedatangan dari Temasek Polytechnic, Singapura. Harapannya, hubungan yang terjalin antara Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan Temasek Polytechnic dapat semakin erat dan mampu memberikan kontribusi yang positif bagi negara Indonesia dan Singapura,” ujar Dr. Agus Susanto Tan.

Sementara itu, Senior Manager Centre for Transcultural Studies International Relations, Cedric Metral-Depardon menyampaikan, Temasek Polytechnic memberikan apresiasi yang sebesar-besarnya dan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Institut Bisnis IT&B yang sudah mempersiapkan kegiatan International Exchange Culture ini dengan sangat baik dan penuh persiapan.

Konsul Singapura, Yap Wee Ping/Jerrica memberikan motivasi dan berbagi pandangan, serta pengalaman kepada mahasiswa/i Temasek Polytechnic, Singapura untuk dapat belajar dan mengali ilmu-ilmu, serta budaya Indonesia, terkhusus dari kota Medan.

“Kami sangat berterimakasih bahwa kerjasama antara Temasek Polytechnic dan Institut Bisnis IT&B terjalin karena ada dukungan dari Konsul Jenderal Singapura, Dr. Edmund Chia yang bersedia menjembatani. Harapannya, persahabatan antara Singapura dan Indonesia melalui program-program pendidikan seperti ini akan terus memberikan manfaat bagi kedua negara,” ucap Yap Wee Ping/Jerrica.

Setelah kegiatan seremonial International Exchange Culture berakhir, kegiatan tersebut dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan interaksi, ice breaking session, dan sharing session antara mahasiswa/i Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan mahasiswa/i Temasek Polytechnic, serta diskusi antara dosen Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan dosen Temasek Polytechnic.

Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan program workshop pelatihan masak masakan, pembuatan kue, dan pembuatan minuman khas Indonesia. Berakhirnya pertemuan tersebut ditandai dengan pertukaran cenderamata antara manajemen Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan manajemen Temasek Polytechnic, serta pertukaran souvenir antara mahasiswa/i Institut Bisnis IT&B dengan mahasiswa/i Temasek Polytechnic, dan diakhiri foto bersama.
