“Hingga pukul 10.20 WIB, korban jiwa meninggal berjumlah 10 jiwa,” ujar Kapusdatin BNPB, Abdul Muhari dalam keterangan pers, Senin, 4 November 2024.
Sementara itu, total populasi warga terdampak, kata Abdul Muhari, sebanyak 10.295 jiwa yang tersebar di dua kecamatan: Wulanggitan dan Ile Bura.
BRI melalui aktivitas Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL) BRI Peduli merespon kejadian bencana alam tersebut dan bahu membahu membantu warga yang terdampak. Berbagai bantuan diberikan berupa penyaluran ratusan paket makanan cepat saji, air mineral, perlengkapan bayi, dan lain lain.
Bantuan tersebut disalurkan oleh satuan tugas bencana Tim Elang Relawan BRI serta insan BRIlian (pekerja BRI) melalui Unit Kerja Boru Kantor Cabang BRI Larantuka yang berlokasi terdekat dengan wilayah bencana.

Pada kesempatan terpisah, Wakil Direktur Utama BRI Catur Budi Harto mengatakan gerak cepat penyaluran bantuan kepada korban bencana erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-laki merupakan wujud kepedulian BRI terhadap warga yang terdampak. Bantuan yang diberikan diharapkan dapat meringankan beban para korban.
“Kami terus bekerja sama dan berkolaborasi dengan semua pihak untuk bahu membahu meringankan beban masyarakat terdampak,” tambahnya.
BRI juga bekerjasama dan berkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk bersinergi dalam menyalurkan bantuan kepada korban bencana sebagai upaya meringankan beban masyarakat dan mempercepat pemulihan pasca bencana.
“Kami pastikan BRI selalu aktif dan bergerak cepat menyalurkan berbagai bantuan bagi warga terdampak bencana yang melanda beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk kepedulian dan ketulusan BRI kepada masyarakat agar dapat segera pulih dari dampak bencana alam,” jelasnya.
